Autumn’s Frosting…
Jack Frost came
a thief in the night
His touch left my flowers
a sad ugly sight.
He lingered till morning
Whisked away by the sun
but he left a message
in the damage he done.
he’ll bring old man winter
( Winter’s just round the bend)
He’s waiting for Autumn
to come to her end.

I love this poem, and I feel so happy when I see that first frost; it is so beautiful – the fuzz of a wind blow.
I am so happy frost has not hit us yet! Just the luck of living in a micro climate up north.
