2 hands in Heaven…

3192036812_e8507264461

High on a hill all silent and still
sits a barn now tattered and torn..
though her paint has faded ( with words debated)
she shines with the time she has worn..
that date on the roof is faded
but it’s still hanging on
cause 2 hands from Heaven
are holding on to that farm..
2 hands from Heaven are keeping it safe from the wind
2 hands from Heaven are holding her up best they can..
the 2 hands that built her knew that a century she’d stand
2 hands from Heaven are holding her up best they can….
she may be leaning and pealing
all dented by slow moving time
Holding stories so old in her walls
that we’ll never find..
she’s bent and She’s bowed
a seed long ago sowed..
she’s weatherd through many a storm..
and the 2 hands that built her have held onto faith
in her since the day she was born..
2 hands from Heaven are keeping her safe from the wind
2 hands from Heaven are holding her up best they can..
the 2 hands that built her knew that a century she’d stand
2 hands from Heaven are holding her up best they can….

High on a hill I sit silent and still
My life all tattered and torn..
though my paint has faded ( it could be debated)
I shine with the time i have  worn..

Cause:
2 hands from Heaven are keeping Me  safe from the wind
2 hands from Heaven are holding  Me  up best they can..
the 2 hands that raised me still loves me like crazy
2 hands from Heaven are holding Me  up best that  they can….
