Haiku spring, set #8

this is a collection of some of my haiku about the season spring..

cj4434

1.

Mother nature soon
Will awaken spring from sleep
And put her to work

2.
Black frogs sing this day
Of spring showers may flowers
And summer to come

3.

Rain played a Rhythem
This day of April showers
And buds on the trees

4.
Winters cold icy hands
Has been touching spring and she
Will melt the old man..

5.
On clear mirror days
Spring flowers make reflections
In puddles of rain..

6.
Sunshine spent the day
Warming cold late winter earth
Where spring lay sleeping

Capture

7.
A late winter wind
Howls and whips through naked trees
Dressing spring in ice

8.
Dark clouds hide the sun
As if teasing the earth below
In want of a drink
9.
Spring stirs below earth
Frozen since winter began
Now warmed by the sun

10.
Nature exploded
Yesterdays tiny buds are
Now tiny green leaves

11.
Morning sun shines bright
As spring begins to stir and
Flowers push through snow

12.
The early spring rain
Falling on late winter snow
Has fog on the rise

13.
The leaves on the trees
Turned upward as if praying
In thanks of spring rain

flowers 002

14.
Rainbow in the sky
Are you saying rain is done
This warm day of spring

15.
Slowly the chatter
Of birds and frogs at the pond
Says winter is gone

16.
Breakfast came early
For robin’s looking for worms
With holes full of rain..

17.
Soon spring will announce
She intends to melt winter
And flowers will bloom.

18.
So green is the grass
When spring begins poking through
Melting ice and snow

19.
Spring rain gently falls
Still too cold for melting ice
Black frogs are sleeping

20.
The rose in his hand
Was holding on to dew drops
That warm spring morning..

21.
The warm sun felt good
That late February day
On dry winterd skin..

22.
Winter seems to be
Fading fast into spring as
Robins feed their young.

23
Winter is fading
Into spring as Robins build
A nest of fresh eggs..

24

Dead skunks in the road
Is a sure sign that spring is
Around the corner.

25.

Fish are jumping high
As peepers sing together
Of springs arrival

26

Spring can be for seen
Simply by watching the moss
Turn from brown green..

27.

Spring is sunset time
When songbirds sing with black frogs
Songs of winter past

28.

I wish I could find
A way to capture the sound
Of frogs singing spring..

29.

A rain crow announced
The incoming of a rain storm
I trust his warning

30.

The rising river
Is slowly creeping into
All that surrounds it.

31.

Big icecicles melt
Getting smaller and smaller
In warmth of spring sun.

32.

Grey frog in the mud
Are you here for the spring rains
And winter goodbyes

33.
Grey frogs enjoyed
Rain on this warm spring morning
With promise of sun

34.

It has come the time
For bugs to begin their mission
Harassing us all..

35,

Old spider once more
Spun a web across my path
Preparing dinner..

36.

The storm came in slow
But the river rose quickly
Becoming a flood.

37.

Old cat is shedding
Taking off his winter coat
Redressing for spring

38.

Once tadpoles get legs
They jump on the backs of fish
And ride them around

39.
The sun gets stronger
As winter tries to hold on
And spring calls the shots.

40.

Nature is yawning
Late winter buds on trees wait
To open for spring..

41,

Rain pours from the sky
This day of late winter sun
And promise of spring
