My Daughter’s book…

I remember the first time i realized my child became a writer, a author of books. I was at the local library and saw a little book in the non fiction  section. i thought to myself… that looks a lot like Terris book” . and pulled it out  to see ,it was her book…a shock went through me. I knew she had written it. i’d already read it. i had a copy for months…yet it hit me that day..she made up her mind at the age of 9 that she wanted to do it. by 12 she was being published and before she’d graduated from school she had her own column for teenagers  in the local Newspaper and  17 Magazne had featured her as a poet..She was running a pen pal club with over 5,000 paid subscribers..This girl didn’t just write she was a writer. a master of all the tricks of a writing trade. …this is just a few of the things i was blessed to watch her do…She now has a book “365 days of walking the red road”, that has done great…This page is to introduce her photography… her hobby always was Photography, but she’s serious these days. real serious……check out her pictures by  floowing the link below..

to find her book…just google her name…she’s easy to find…

all pictures on this page are by Terri jean..and can not be used without permission..

  1. A daughter to be very proud of.

  2. Angie,

I’d be proud to write a poem for her…is she the one who lives upstairs by the beauty shop?

    God made 2 loving parents

    who gave me my start..

    with four gentle arms that

held me close to their heart..

Then He gave me two daughters

    with 8 hands to hold

    4 more loving arms that

    held me tight growing old..

    my life from beginng

    to end has been grand

    with 40 gentle fingers

    holding tight to my hand…

they are more than my family

they are no less than a friend..

    those 4 faithful hearts that

    I knew start to end…Amen..

I hope this is one she likes..if not, i can write something else..glad to see you found my poetry blog……hope you enjoyed some of them.

i have a site just for pictures of ohio

    and a flickr site

hope all is well with you and your mom and sisters…

    In Faith

  3. Connie,
you wrote a poem for my sisters & I how we have taken care of our mother. You might remember Mono who resides at the county home with mom. She wanted our poem to copy & put her family in it. I thought you could write her own poem since ours was wrote special for us. She was going to put it on her tombstone. She’s looking for something that states her love for her 2 daughters, Dodee & Lorie & also her parents Joe & Dorothy. I hope you get this message. Angie Barringer
